The Account Executive role will involve daily outbound activities (i.e., phone calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach) and will be responsible for meeting sales growth requirements, increasing marketing share and developing key relationships with reference labs and hospitals.

You will be tasked with driving initial contact with prospects, creating interest and working with team members in completing the sale. You will be fully empowered with market-leading tools, resources and processes and must be self-motivated to exceed target goals. The role is an inside sales role, with all customer-facing work being executed via phone and video meetings.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • On behalf of Streamline Scientific, develop professional relationships within new customer accounts.
  • Successfully execute the key sale activities, prescribed by the company, and provide accurate and timely documentation of these activates in customer system (CRM).
  • Serve as a liaison between the customer and Company subject matter experts.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast in the CRM.
  • Develop and execute a business plan to exceed assigned sales quotas.
  • Participate in marketing-related activities.
  • Qualify prospective customers and identify cross-sell and/or up sell opportunities.


DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Utilize all forms of technology and data to analyze territory, effectively target accounts and pre-call planning
  • Maintain knowledge of the current industry / competitive landscape, healthcare economics, reimbursement, competitors, and competitive products, etc.
  • Interact and develop strong rapport with marketing team, sales operations, Customer Service/Onboarding, and consulting teams and other internal departments
  • Resolve customer complaints in accordance with Company policy and advises sales management promptly of any situation beyond the Sales Representative’s authority

LOCATION:

  • Preferred locations - Birmingham, AL or Austin, TX where employee will have access to corporate offices.
  • Open to working remotely from a professional environment.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • +2 years of documented successful track record of previous inside sales selling experience. (Preferred experience with reference lab or hospital lab call points.)
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring and retaining new clients by having an exceptional ability to build/maintain relationships with both potential customers and existing clients.
  • Have a high comfort level in conducting business and scientific discussions with Senior Management, Lab staff and Executives in customer accounts.

Additional Information
(Colorado only*) Minimum salary range between $75,000- $85,000 + $75,000 commission target+ benefits.
  • Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation range for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.
